This 2-Day instructor level course will give students the knowledge and skills to deploy ballistic shields with great mobility, flexibility, and offensive accuracy without risk of malfunctions to the weapon system. As instructors, students will learn to adjust and deploy the shield in any environment, defeating threats without hesitation and with conviction. Student instructors will learn how to manipulate weapon systems and fix malfunctions with both hands and fight in an offensive mode with both primary and secondary weapon systems incorporating standing, kneeling, and prone shooting platforms as well as extensive movement drills.
Transitions and Barricade Usage is an advanced-level course designed for experienced shooters with a solid foundation in firearms handling and marksmanship. Built around the long-standing “ALWAYS FIND COVER” principle instilled in officers from day one of the police academy, this course addresses a critical gap—how to effectively shoot from cover.
Participants should expect to be pushed beyond their comfort zones as they develop greater proficiency with support-side shooting and unorthodox firing positions. The curriculum emphasizes ambidextrous weapon handling, including shoulder transitions, fundamental shooting mechanics from either side, and familiarity with both left- and right-hand-oriented controls.
Training focuses heavily on gross motor skill development for rifle manipulation. Students will work through slow, deliberate transitions to build body awareness and muscle memory, as well as drills designed to improve capability in one-handed and compromised shooting scenarios.

This one-day course is designed for civilian firearm owners seeking a safe, practical introduction to handguns. Students will learn the fundamentals of firearm safety, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition basics and selection, handgun selection and safe storage, and essential shooting fundamentals. Instruction also covers basic marksmanship, routine pistol inspection and maintenance, and shooting range etiquette and safety.
